Step 1 β Update the game
This fixes most issues. An outdated game version is the most common cause of crashes, freezes, and progression problems. Check your app store for any available updates, install them, then reopen HomeMatch.
HomeMatch updates approximately every 2 weeks. Known bugs are typically fixed with the next release. Follow our TLDR; Known Issues/ Fixes to stay up to date!
Step 2 β Restart the app
Fully close HomeMatch (don't just minimize it) and reopen it. This clears any temporary memory issues.
Step 3 β Check your internet connection
HomeMatch needs an active connection to load rooms and sync progress. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or move closer to your router.
Step 4 β Free up storage space
If your device is running low on storage, games can crash unexpectedly. Delete unused apps or files, then try opening HomeMatch again.
Stuck on a challenge? It might just be a tricky room!
Not every difficult level is a bug and some rooms are genuinely hard! Here's what to try:
- Fully close and reopen the app to reload the room.
- Send us a screen recording of the level through the Support button in Settings β our team can check the level and help guide you through it!
- If there's a technical issue with the room, our team will investigate and fix it in the next update.

Seeing a faulty or disruptive ad?
Please send us the following and we'll get it blocked right away:
- A screenshot or screen recording of the ad
- The name of the ad company (if visible)
- Your device model and system version number
Still having issues? Here's how to report it to us directly
Tap the Support button in your game Settings and send us all of the following:
- A screen recording or video of the issue happening
- A screenshot of your in-game Settings screen β this shows your Player ID, game version, device model, and OS all in one
- A description of when it happens:
β’ On startup? In a specific room? After a certain action?
β’ Does it happen every time or only sometimes? - Submit the form through 'Contact Us' β we'll review it and follow up!
A screen recording is the most helpful thing you can send. If it's a visual bug or glitch, a video is worth a thousand words!
